Client needed a revamp of their website, as well as the architecture of the website and lastly implementation of technical solutions. Apart from an informative part of the website, we were responsible for creating the shop with warehouse management. The graphic design has been UX optimized.

About client
PROXIMA’s first products were vehicle security devices. They were the first in Poland to produce an auto alarm with a variable code, an auto alarm with a panic lock, a microprocessor-based window controller that restores the position of windows and other solutions in the field of vehicle security.

Firstly, we started out with getting to know Client’s business and their goals. Thanks to comprehesive meeting we were able to understand their business needs and offer solutions to help them meet them. Then we analyzed action of our Client’s competition to better suit the solutions to the market.
After that we reported the results and went on to planning our actions and activities. As to the website design, as always, we provided Client with lo-fi mockup and then updated with the changes Client suggested. At the end we delivered hi-fi mockups and UX optimized them. Then we went to the development stage.

We help our Client reach the business goal, we used a combination of custom code and WordPress solutions. Thanks to that, we were able to provide a customizable platform that could carry full warehouse management issues and work as an informative website at once.

The challenges we have overcome
The biggest challenge here was the implementation of an extensive product filtering system aimed at facilitating customers’ quick identification of products based on their technical specifications. Another thing was the deployment of an advanced product search engine on the website, allowing users to preview basic information about the available products directly within the search interface. Another tricky part to implement was to introduce a solution of enabling discounts on products depending on the quantity purchased and the type of account used by the customer. And lastly, the creation of a custom download page that provides users with easy access to product instructions and software in a well-organized structure of categories and subcategories.
