The client needed a redesign of the system - the website - from the visual side, as well as the backend. The old site was unoptimized and outdated systemically as well as visually. In addition, we worked to bring the site up to the legal and iGaming standards of the time.

We’ve worked in Time&Material model, having 3 developers and 1 Project Manager outsourced to the Clients team. As the project was quite complicated, by the changing legal issues in the context of gambling at the time, we worked in two-week iterations, through the Scrum technique.
This applied to both phases of the project – redesign and work on the front end of the site. It was a very dynamic project, with many variables and several implementations.
We introduced new payment methods and customer support tools, bolstering efficiency. Our team of 3 developers and 1 project manager joined forces, utilizing PHP, Symfony, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and AWS. With Scrum project management, we ensured flawless coordination.
The biggest challenge of this project was dealing with the old version of the site, bringing it up to speed from the backend. Then bringing it up to the standards of the gambling sites of the time – we had to make quite a development step. And, of course, working on the legal part of the site at that time was challenged by the dynamic legal situation in the context of gambling on the German market.
